Single8: A Young Filmmaker's Dream — Based on the True Story of Ultraman Director Kazuya Konaka

Single8: A Young Filmmaker's Dream, from Neramitnung Film, has released its full trailer, distributed by Shinesaeng Ad.Venture. Single8 is adapted from the real-life childhood of director Kazuya Konaka, who was once obsessed with shooting films on an 8mm camera with his older brother, Chiaki J. Konaka, back in the 1970s. He later became one of the creative forces behind numerous superhero productions, including Ultraman Tiga, Ultraman Dyna, Ultraman Gaia: The Battle of Super Dimension, and Ultraman Mebius & Ultra Brothers

Of course, watching movies is fun, but making movies is a far more enjoyable experience. I think independent filmmaking, born purely out of a passion for making movies, is a wonderful thing in the world of filmmaking

This film shows every step of the filmmaking process, starting from the hero's decision to make a film, building the set, negotiating, the heroine's appearance, shooting, editing, recording, and the final screening at the school festival

We hope audiences will experience the full joy of filmmaking and then watch the short sci-fi film as though they were there at the final screening.
