“JC Lin” Hails “Lester Hsi” as a Master of Spine-Chilling Horror in “The Bridge Curse: Ritual — Haunted School,” Opening 16 November

Neramitnung Film and Shinesaeng Ad.Venture present a full trailer with exponentially more nerve-shredding horror for the film “The Bridge Curse: Ritual — Haunted School“, taking the ghost-movie franchise to a major new level with special-effects makeup that heightens its realism, directed by Lester Hsi.

“The Bridge Curse: Ritual” reveals the spine-chilling story behind a supernatural phenomenon spreading throughout the school — in places including the library, the dance studio, and the elevator, each radiating a clear and unmistakable sense of foreboding dread. What makes this installment especially compelling is the clever addition of an augmented-reality (AR) game, blending together three spiritual rituals: the eerie “Solo Hide-and-Seek” game, the spine-tingling “Four Corners” game, and the utterly haunting “Elevator” game.

JC Lin, who plays a key part in the film, said, “When I saw the different scenes in the movie, I felt chills running down my spine — the horror in this installment even surpasses the fear factor of the previous film.

“Director Hsi is a true wizard when it comes to crafting horror down to its core, using stunning visual design as a captivating tool. He is a genuine genius in this particular craft.“

As for the supporting cast portraying otherworldly beings, the transformation into ghosts and spirits required two to three hours of meticulous special-effects makeup each time. In addition, the film's spatial design was crafted with great care — for instance, the multidimensional haunted elevator set, which leaves audiences with an imprint of fear that is hard to shake.

“The Bridge Curse: Ritual — Haunted School“ opens in cinemas on 16 November.
