Neramitnung Film, Shinesaeng Ad.Venture and SAC Gallery Join Forces for a Special Film Talk: ‘the FROZEN x The Cursed Land’

Taking everyone back through history via two media that use different storytelling methods but share the same content and roots.

At the event, a walking activity called “Bangkok’s Untold Story – A Melayu Patani Heritage Trail” took participants and press on a visit to the “Suhao Ban Don Community,” whose history spans more than a ‘hundred years,’ together with a discussion tracing the history of the Melayu Patani people’s migration — those who helped found the city and dig and expand the Saen Saep Canal as captives.

The event closed with a special film talk, ‘the FROZEN x The Cursed Land,’ a discussion of the stories behind the art exhibition the FROZEN – Tharapanluek and the film The Cursed Land — two works that, despite using different storytelling methods, tell the same story from the same roots, with director Phanu Aree joining the conversation.

The curse presses on into week 4 — ‘The Cursed Land’ in cinemas today.
