Neramitnung Film Closes Out the Year with A24's Dream Scenario — the Hunt for the Dream Man Continues This 14 December

Have you ever dreamed of me? What would your dream man look like? Get ready for the dark comedy, the latest work from A24, “DREAM SCENARIO: Tonight, Dream of Me” — Neramitnung Film and Shinesaeng Ad.Venture release the first poster ahead of its premiere on 14 December.

A24 adapted the This Man phenomenon into a film. The This Man phenomenon, or “the mystery of who he is,” was a strange internet occurrence from around the early 2000s, when a psychiatric patient was being treated for repeatedly dreaming of the same man's face. The patient sketched the man's likeness, before other patients — and members of the public — began claiming to have seen the same man's face too.

DREAM SCENARIO: Tonight, Dream of Me is directed and written by Kristoffer Borgli, the filmmaker behind Sick of Myself, and stars Nicolas Cage in a pivotal role. The film has also drawn attention since premiering at the Toronto International Film Festival in September, earning an overwhelmingly positive response. Paul Matthews (Nicolas Cage), a university professor, wakes up to find his life turned upside down as he becomes an overnight celebrity, appearing in the dreams of millions of strangers he has never met. This strange phenomenon also brings chaos into his own life.
