Neramitnung Film Teams Up With 2 Leading Universities to Launch “Catch a Ghost, Make a Movie,” Empowering Young Talent to Take Thai Film International

It is offering a learning experience with the launch of the “Catch a Ghost, Make a Movie” project, seeking out young people with a passion for film to join a workshop on brainstorming ideas, developing them, and structuring a story — becoming Thai film creators who learn hands-on from professional producers and directors. It's a major opportunity to become a new screenwriter and director.

“Catch a Ghost, Make a Movie” invites university students to submit their work, taking on horror stories and telling them creatively, leading toward film production. Those selected will move on to a workshop covering the following topics:
1. Buyer market demand and target audience
2. Idea generation, development, and story structuring
3. Preparing a pitch deck

Tanthai Narongkul, Chairman of Neramitnung Film Co., Ltd., shared that this MOU signing marks a collaboration between Neramitnung Film Co., Ltd. and two well-known universities: the Faculty of Digital Media and Film Arts, Bangkok University, and the Department of Screenwriting and Film and Television Directing, School of Communication Arts, Rangsit University. Khun Laddawan Rattanadilokchai presented a screenwriting project aimed at nurturing young talent, which led to the creation of the concept called “Catch a Ghost, Make a Movie.” This will help build valuable skills and experience for students, producing quality graduates who can further apply their knowledge, particularly in the Thai film industry. Cultivating young talent is a key driving force in developing the Thai film business toward the international stage, sparking ideas that let students build their potential, gain experience, and work with industry experts. Students' work will go on to show audiences abroad that we are second to none in the world.

Kanokwan Watchara, Chief Executive Officer of Neramitnung Film Co., Ltd., revealed that the “Catch a Ghost, Make a Movie” project will help students expand their knowledge. Beyond theoretical knowledge, students will write scripts and develop stories themselves, leading to the preparation of a pitch deck, with guidance from experts and renowned film directors along the way.
