Neramitnung Film – Shinesaeng Ad.Venture Invite You to Dream of “Nick Cage” in “DREAM SCENARIO,” Now Showing

Neramitnung Film and Shinesaeng Ad.Venture unveiled the dark-comedy film with the face of Nicolas Cage, welcoming members of the press and popular movie pages to the PRESS SCREENING of “DREAM SCENARIO: Tonight, Dream of Me”, the latest work from A24. Executives in attendance were led by Kanokwan Watchara, Chief Executive Officer of Neramitnung Film Co., Ltd., Chaiwat Mingmai, Chief Executive Officer of Shinesaeng Ad.Venture Co., Ltd., along with Phanu Aree, Chief International Distribution Officer of Neramitnung Film Co., Ltd., and Chalit Krailertmongkol from Fatcat Studios, who attended the event at Major Cineplex Ratchayothin on Tuesday, 12 December.

DREAM SCENARIO: Tonight, Dream of Me is directed and written by Kristoffer Borgli, of Sick of Myself, who revealed: “I sent Nick Cage the script to read, and once he finished it, he felt he truly understood the character of Paul Matthews. It’s as if he lives in a society where other people’s opinions decide what kind of person you are — given all the fame that came crashing in from his acting career, along with the scandals and endless rumors during his low period” (such as having to take on B-grade films just to pay off debt, and his over-the-top acting mannerisms that became memes people mocked everywhere).

Nicolas Cage brings a believable depth to the character. At the same time, Nick Cage himself grew up in a family well known in academic circles — his father was a professor — so the role of Paul isn’t so far removed from who he really is.

Everything about the DREAM SCENARIO project, then, was a great opportunity for Nicolas Cage, who was ready to dive into something new and unusual.

“It’s genuinely groundbreaking — not just my character, but everything about the story. It felt like I stepped into the director’s mind, into his thinking, and made something that honestly can’t be neatly classified into any one genre. That was truly the most important thing for me in making this film,” Nick Cage said
