Taklee Genesis Reveals Its Special IMAX® Poster

After it was officially announced earlier that this year’s blockbuster film, Taklee Genesis, would screen with a special expanded image ratio exclusive to IMAX, Taklee Genesis has now revealed its IMAX edition poster — a grand aerial image developed from the city plan of Udon Thani province, the film’s setting. Director Mudee-Chookiat Sakveerakul happened to travel there and discover this location, which led him to piece together the ideas he had with the historical information about Ramasun Camp, combining them into the idea for creating Taklee Genesis.

The film “Taklee Genesis” screens with a special expanded image ratio for more than 1.38 hours out of its 2.26-hour runtime, with an image design emphasizing height to accommodate the grandeur of the IMAX screen, together with a fully immersive sound system — ready to deliver an epic experience that can only be felt in cinemas.

Director Mudee-Chookiat Sakveerakul said:
“We had a dream of bringing this film to IMAX so audiences could have the fullest possible experience. This film’s concept and production process were designed from the very start to create a truly special experience on the IMAX screen, as you can see from the image ratio, whose height accommodates everything that’s grand in scale, and the specially crafted CG design, which was thought through together with the image ratio. The experience of being inside the world of the film — including the vast, sprawling universe and outer space — has all been packed into this film, and viewers will get an incredibly special experience watching it in IMAX.”
