Ed Harris Is the Ultimate Villain, Ready to Crush Love, in LOVE LIES BLEEDING — A Savagely Toxic Love (A24)

The key character who will change the relationship between Lou and Jackie in LOVE LIES BLEEDING — a savagely toxic love is Ed Harris (Ed Harris), who plays Lou Senior, Lou's father, a crime boss.

“Should people be afraid of my character? It really depends on what they do. If they behave, if they don't cross me, they've got nothing to fear. I'm actually a pretty decent guy. But if you do something I don't like, you'll be in trouble. I have no problem dealing with people I don't like — let's just leave it at that.”

“There's a lot from the past that makes Lou hate my character right now, and it's only going to get worse as the story goes on. Rose has a wickedly vivid imagination, and she's definitely going to put it to use in this film,” Harris explained.

“I told Ed, I'd love it if you looked different from how we've seen you before. Glass remembered, and he said, ‘Maybe I'll grow out a ponytail or something.’ I was picturing something slightly curly, but instead he had a hairdresser friend attach extensions for him. He sent me a photo of himself with this crazy hairstyle, which was somewhere between looking charming and looking like Cousin Itt (from The Addams Family), and I was like, yes, that's it! Then I showed Kristen and said, look at Ed Harris with this wild hairstyle. She immediately pulled out her phone and showed me a photo of her father — turns out he had the exact same hairstyle. She asked me, did you find a photo of my dad and send it to Ed? But no — Ed was just the one who liked this hairstyle, which was a huge coincidence,” said Glass
