“Ob-PP” Will Take You Along for the Fun Every Monday in “Happy Monday(S)”

“Neramitnung Film” together with “Shinesaeng Ad.Venture” will take you plunging into a time loop with “Happy Monday(s)…Happy Monday(S)” the studio’s first romantic comedy film from “Neramitnung Film” directed by Kor–Chakri Chaipreecha. “Happy Monday(S)” has now released its main poster, revealing the film’s leading cast: Ob-Obnithi Wiwatnawarang, PP-Punpreedee Khumprom Rodsavas, Poon Mitrpakdee, Victor–Chatchawit Techarukpong and Bell–Warissara Jitpreedaskul, all trapped in the loop of a famous game, each actor showing a different expression and emotion.

Director Kor-Chakri said, “Happy Monday(S) came about because I watch time-loop films where someone wakes up to face the same events over and over, suffering until they find a way out of the loop and everything resolves — mostly the same old formula. So I thought there should be someone who gets stuck in a loop and actually enjoys it, which led to creating the character ‘Earth,’ blending in some of my own experiences. There was a period in my life when I graduated late, because I started working early and didn’t care about studying. I also poured in some major life experiences, including my own love life, letting us see myself in many versions — from unable to move on, to finally letting go. I’m someone people often ask why I haven’t grown up yet, and Earth really is me. My friends tease me that I cast someone way too handsome to play myself (laughs).”Catch “Happy Monday(S)” on Thursday, 20 February, in cinemas.
